Dahlia Trials
The Welsh Dahlia Society Trials at Pencoed College.
The Welsh Dahlia Societies trials are held each year at Pencoed College. The plots are dug during the winter months and cultivated in May. 113gms of Blood +fish + bone is added per square metre at the time of cultivation. The plots are rotated in order to rest the ground after the 4-year B.A.R.B. rose trials.
Mr Monty Price, and Richard Hill carry out planting and cultivation.
This trial is judged during August/September after which the names are supplied. Please take a look in early October when all the names will be listed against the numbers along with their type, size and cultural details.
